Selected according to traditional Finnish standards, Harvia sauna stones create an authentic sauna atmosphere with soft, consistent heat. Their split-face design allows them to store heat effectively and release steam efficiently, ensuring a balanced and enjoyable sauna experience.

Designed for Optimal Performance

Unlike smooth or rounded stones, angular split-face stones allow for proper air circulation between the stones and heating elements. This airflow is essential in electric heaters, helping to distribute heat evenly and extend the life of the heating elements. The fractured surfaces also allow water to evaporate more efficiently, producing the gentle steam that defines a true Finnish sauna.

Important Usage Note

To ensure the best sauna performance and heater longevity, always use genuine Harvia split-face stones. Avoid light ceramic, soft soapstone, or smooth rounded stones, as they cannot store heat effectively and may cause problems in electric heaters.
